Hans is my name and computer graphics is my game. In my world, creating video games, movies, and interactive web content is even more fun than consuming it.
I have worked for over 20 years as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for companies like RightScale, Cloudscaling, and Amazon Web Services, and as such have expertise in a vast array of computer technologies for the web. I ran the Cloudlord Corporation contracting services out of San Francisco and Silicon Valley for five years until 2019 when I decided to change focus from back-end infrastructure to front-end content.
To satisfy my thirst for new skills I’m currently a student at Santa Barbara City College earning an A.A. in Multimedia Arts Technologies and expect to graduate in May of 2025. I am also a student at Napa Valley College earning an A.S. in Digital Design Graphics Technology and expect to graduate at the end of 2026. I hold a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Oregon State University (1992) and an A.A. in Film Production from Santa Barbara City College (2024).
I currently specialize in Unreal Engine, Unity, and Three.js as well as Maya and Blender and am certified with AutoDesk AutoCAD and working on certification with Inventor and Fusion. My current goal is to harness all these technologies to deliver photo realistic interactive content for mobile and desktop web browsers.
